Famatta Kieh is a young and aspiring designer based in Monrovia, Liberia West Africa. Her love and passion for fashion was always a dream until she came in contact with Christian Aid Ministries Missionaries. These missionaries opened a school to empower women. While at the school, she mastered the art of designing. Famatta works with her sister in the United States to sell her clothing and accessories. She also provides jobs for more than 7 different women who are the breadwinner for their household. When you purchase from us you’re empowering and supporting women in Africa. We started “Famatta Closet” in 2017 and officially launched it in 2019. We’ve received tremendous support and the demand for our products has increased. We take custom orders or you can choose from our ready to wear collections. All of our clothes are hand made with authentic African lappa and Ankara fabric.
